Obverse and reverse are minted from two joined planes.
On the obverse side of the coin is a tricolor, symbolizing the independence of the Lithuanian state, which provided the basis for becoming a full member of both NATO and the EU. Around the flag - the Vytis symbol of the coat of arms of Lithuania, the inscription LITHUANIA, the denomination of the coin, the year of minting and the mint mark. In the background of the coin are fragmented NATO and EU symbols.
On the reverse side of the coin is a tricolor, symbolizing the independence of the Lithuanian state, which provided the basis for becoming a full member of both NATO and the EU. Around the flag are NATO and EU symbols, next to it are the dates of Lithuania's accession to NATO and the EU. In the background of the coin, the 5th article of the North Atlantic Treaty and the musical notes of the EU anthem are written in small text.
