The reverse of the coin shows the image of a spider funnel. The inscription - AUSTRALIAN FUNNEL-WEB SPIDER - is carved around the central image of the coin and in the lower part of the coin - the year of issue, weight, fineness and name of the precious metal, mint mark.
Queen Elizabeth II is depicted on the obverse. The top of the coin is engraved with the name of the Queen and the name of the country, while the bottom of the coin is engraved with the face value of the coin.
