The tenth coin in the series is dedicated to Titanoboa. This is an extinct tribe of very large snakes that lived in what is now La Guajira in north-eastern Colombia. They could grow up to 12.8 m, maybe even 14.3 m long, and reach a body mass of 730-1135 kg.
Coins of the highest purity, struck from one ounce of 999.9 silver. The coin depicts the Titanoboa snake. In the background is a crocodile, whose image illustrates the comparative size of Titanoboa. Above both animals is the inscription PREHISTORIC LIFE, TITANOBOA, 60-58 B.C. and the year of issue 2023.
The reverse shows the coat of arms of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the face value.
